I gave everything I could so I can end up having no regrets. But there are just wars you can never win, so you'd have to choose your battles. You need to know when to face forward and when to walk away. Not every issue deserves your attention, time and effort.
We broke up about 3 weeks ago due to individual differences. God knows how much tears I've cried when he left. But when he came back, feels like he never did.
This wasn't the reationship we shared. He wasn't the same guy I fell in love with. From a guy who tells me he loves me everyday to some stranger who doesn't even ask how my day went.
I miss the forehead kisses too. His jokes to make me feel better after a tiring day at work. And all the good stuff we shared from a not so distant past. I mean, come on. That wasn't a long time ago. We had all that about 3 weeks prior to the break up.
He ignores me a lot now. I feel like I annoy him whenever I'd try to start a conversation. He often shouts at me as if I always do something awful. Everyday since he came back.. he never failed to make me feel unwanted. More than anything else, I feel so alone and the relationship is just one sided. Ako na lang ang may gustong ipag patuloy at ako na lang ang nag mamahal.
I am grateful he gave "us" another chance to make it work. However, things changed. And right now, holding on is doing me more damage than letting go. Why would I choose to win the war if I wouldn't be receiving the ample prize as a victor. I want the "old" JaRox back but I can never get it back. Not anymore.

Tingloy Island, Batangas - 05.02.2015
Masasa Beach, Tingloy Island, Batangas
Just a heads up, Tingloy is somewhat a semi virgin island. It's rated as a 5th class municipality (2nd to the lowest class). Do not expect hotdogs and hamburgers from the island (lol). There's no 7 11, mini stop, and no electricity from 12MN to 12NN. Yep! No electricity. So be ready with your rechargeable lights, fans, and powerbanks.
There were no planning needed. He's from that island. He just asked me to get myself a rechargeable fan and canned goods.
From Buendia, we rode a bus going to Batangas City Port. Just ask the driver to drop you off the Batangas City Bus Terminal. Php300+ bus fare ([1]pax, back&forth). Travel time is approximately 2 hours. There's just 1 stop over for a bathroom break. Don't forget to bring snacks. ^_^
Once in Batangas City Bus terminal, you'll need to take a jeepney to Mabini. There are jeepneys there just waiting for passengers. The fare is to Mabini is Php35. Travel time is approximately 30-45 minutes depending on traffic.
Light house in Mabini Port
There's a port in Mabini. The boats there would bring you to Tingloy. Please note that last trip to the island is 1PM so better be there early.
And while waiting for the boat to depart.. You can have a halo-halo break.. like me :-P
Php60 boat ride tix and approximately 20 minutes boat ride.
And so we arrived. The island was gorgeous but with streets that aren't really feet friendly. Haha. Very steep! As if you're trekking. Remember to bring comfy shoes or slippers! :)
Street in Tingloy
Sooo tiring. :-P
We stayed in my friend's house but if you're a traveller who doesn't know anyone there, you may camp or stay in a resort. There are a number of camp sites and resorts there just near the port.
We spotted a camp site / resort just 15-20 mins. Away from the port.
There are a couple of attractions there like the "Mag Asawang Bato". It's rock formation on top of a hill. About 45 mins to 1 hour trekking. We didn't go for it though. I hate walking / trekking, sarry.
But i love the beach! So the next day, we went to the most beatiful beach in the island. If you're staying near the port, you may take a tricycle to Masasa. Php15 per ride. After the tricycle ride, you'd have to walk to the beach. About 15 minutes walk.
Sun down at Masasa
Morning at Masasa
Oh look, such a happy kiddo. :-P
Bring food and water, there are no stores nearby. No comfort room too so you'd go back to your camp wearing your wet clothes.
If you really love the nature and ocean, this is where you should go. The water was calm. It was so quiet too. I feel like I own the beach. Very relaxing.
Overall, the experience was great. Given the chance, I'd go back to that place and swim some more. I wanna camp there in Masasa and have BBQ or hotdogs. Maybe, get to that "Mag Asawang Bato" as well.
I love the experience.
Thank you for reading. May this be helpful and informative. ^_^

I Made a Wrong Turn
When he left me, i was more than hurt. I was completely broken. I cried a lot everyday.
I knew you would always be there for me and I'll forever have a soft spot in your heart so I came running to you. It could've been a decent and friendly type of comfort you've given.. but it turned out to be something else. I began feeling the desire to have you back. That was improper. Immediately, we're in this situation that's very complicated. Solely because of my wrongdoings.
You're not the one to blame. This is all on me.. I knew you can never say no to me hence I took advantage of it. You were a band aide.
Days went on and little by little the band aid solution is wearing out. I felt dying inside again. I was very sad again.
We all know how our relationship ended.. How you treated me and what you did that contributed to our relationship to fall apart.
Unlike you.. He has seen me as me and loved me for who I am and what I can offer. Apart from telling me every day that I am beautiful, he made me feel that I was the most beautiful.. (For him, I guess.) He made me feel that I am the hottest, smartest, and strongest girl he has ever met. Best in bed. Best girl he ever had. Every day, he never fails to remind me how important I am and how much he loves me. He was so happy and proud to have me as his girl.
As compared to what you did.. All you did was make me feel bad about how I look.. How I carry myself.. And how I see life.. You'd befriend girls with half naked photos and lust on them. You even had sex with a prostitute to release that lust. I wasn't good enough for you.. Never I was.
Now, I remember why our relationship didn't work out. I wasn't enough. You want someone else. Someone that's not me..
We've been dating again for a month now.. Slept in 1 bed.. Shared nights and kisses. Not a single sign of me on all your social media accounts.. Ashamed? Or perhaps keeping me as a secret so you can continue whatever you've started with the girl/s you dated / you're dating.
Those talented, pretty, and petite girls you dated / you're dating.. In your eyes I am no match for them. I was never the girl of your dreams.. But in my heart, I know.. There is someone.. Out there.. Who sees me differently. Someone who once made me feel that I am wanted. He once made me feel that I am the girl he was praying for. Like I was everything he ever wanted.
I.. I want.. I want to feel that again.. That I am wanted.. I am loved.. That someone is so happy and proud to have me.
After a month of seeing you and being with you again.. I did not feel that. Right now, I think.. It'll be best if I won't be with any man. I'm sorry. This was all my fault.

Top Pick Restaurant: Banapple
Banapple Pies and Cheese Cakes.. ugh. Really one of my favorites. That was back in 2012 when I dicovered this restaurant and I've been itching to write a review about 'em and now is the day I make that happen!
I recently learned that the name Banapple came from the main ingredients of their early hits / top sellers, the banofee pie and apple caramel crumble pie. Cool start, huh?
Banapple is a bakery cafe that serves pies, cheesecakes, pastries, and lotsa good food. But for me? Their my top pick RESTAURANT! Lol. Sorry, pag bigyan na.
On a weekend date, I'd always ask my boyfriend to bring me to Banapple. They sell the best pasta and cheesecakes in town! I always brag about that with my friends who haven't had a Banapple experience. I feel that having a Banapple experience is a must, so if you haven't tried them, please do!
Banapple, Metro Market! Market!
One common Saturday, we took a trip to the nearest Banapple we know, in Metro Market! Market! Mall. They're open from 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM.
Staff are very friendly and accomodating. They'll greet you at the door, take you to your seat, and present to you their menu. Once done choosing your meal, you have to go to the counter to order and pay for it.
One of my personal favorite is their baked cheesy creamy penne, 215php. It has white cheesy cream and meaty tomato sauce with hungarian sausage. They come with 2 slices of garlic bread Same goes to all of their pasta.
Baked cheesy creamy penne
Another favorite is thier trio of sausage fettuccine, 215php. It has creamy white sauce.
That time, my boyfriend ordered Lasagna roll ups, 210php.
Yum! Yum! Yum! Aidan eating his lasagna.
I also love their rice meals! Like the hickory smoked BBQ country ribs, 220php. So tasty and so tender!
BBQ Contry Ribs
And i love their nachos too, just for 90php!
Nachos
Their smoothies are awesome. We got the dark chocolate one and the banana chocolate, 125php each.
Their cheesecakes will give you a taste of heaven. The price ranges from 110php - 145php.
My favorite though is their dark chocolate tiramisu and the white chocolate strawberry cheesecake.
I also tried their santa's choclate chip and oreo cheesecake.
One time, my boyfriend's family from the province visited Manila And I took them to Banapple. I introduced them to my most loved restaurant in Manila. That's how much I recommend Bannaple.
I am so inlove with Banapple that I won't ever get tired eating there. :-)
So if you haven't tried, trust me when I say YOU MUST! :-)

Baler, Aurora Philippines - 01.18.2015
It wasn't my first time to go to Baler. I was there last November of 2013. I decided to go back there because the waves were calling.
My boyfriend and I started planning the trip early January of 2015. We wanted to make a reservation at Aliya Surf Camp. One of the most popular resorts there in Baler. Unfortunately, the resort only accepts not less than a 2 week notice with down-payment prior to the date of your reservation. The time we had left came short, we were planning to be there in January 17 which is less than 2 weeks already.
We decided to just go to Baler without any reservation and just find a place to stay in once we get there.
For the transportation, since we don't have our own vehicle we took a bus to get there. The only bus line travelling directly to Baler is Genesis in Cubao, Quezon City.
Genesis' trip to Baler starts at 12:00 AM - ends at 3:00 AM via their executive buses called Joy Bus. The fare ranges from 635php - 800php. You can make reservations online through Genesis' website.
Regular aircon bus trips starts at 4AM - last trip is 7:30 AM. Fare to Baler is 450php per person. No reservation is allowed, strictly following the first come first serve basis.
Don't worry! If you weren't able to catch any Genesis bus to Baler, you can take a bus to Cabanatuan (Could be Five Star, Baliwag, etc.). Once in Cabanatuan, there are UV express vans and Aurora Buses there that'll also take you to Baler.
Going back to my travel story.. my boyfriend and I took the 7:00 AM trip of Genesis bus line in Cubao to Baler. The bus was neat and kinda new. Don't forget to bring your jacket because the air-con bus was freezing.
After 2 hours on the road, we made our first stop over at Nonglene Fast Food / Restaurant / Pasalubong Center.
I would suggest that you take a full meal prior to on boarding the bus or bring food since the stop over has 2 hours interval.
The bus will also stop by The Cabanatuan Bus Terminal where there's 711 and a small store after that where you can buy tupig, BBQs, hotodgs, and pasalubong. That was my favorite stop over. ;-)
We arrived in Baler at around 2:00 PM. A total of 7 hours land travel from manila.
There were a lot of tricycles waiting for passengers from the bus. The drivers will offer you a ride wherever and tour packages too! They were very nice, honest, and polite. A tricycle ride from the bus terminal to Sabang beach costs 15php per person.
We headed to the beach and tried finding a place to stay in for the night. As much as we wanted to stay somewhere fronting the beach, they were fully booked. T'was a long weekend because of the Pope's visit. Thus, I advise that you make a reservation prior to going there when you know it's within a peak season or a holiday.
We found ourselves in Mr. BENIGNO's transient house. It was about 3-5 minutes walk from Sabang Beach of Baler. With clean air-con, bed, bathroom, and balcony it wasn't bad at all. There were sari sari stores nearby too. The place costs 1,500php per night (pwede ka tumawad, 1,300php lang binayad namin).
After settling our stuff and resting for a couple of minutes, we headed to the beach and took photos. The waves were approximately 4 to 5 ft. high and t'was high tide. The waves were already touching the wall gates of the resorts there along the beach.
The wind blowing was so cold that I had to continue wearing a hoodie (o baka lamigin lang ako?). Because it was high tide and the waves were scary, we decided not to surf that afternoon. Yes, I was scared though it was my second time there in Baler and I know the waves are really that high. This is because I don't know how to swim and it's gonna be the first time I'll surf, ever..
At 6 PM we headed to the city proper to have dinner. There's a famous eat-all-you-can and drink-all-you-can place there called "Gerry Shan's". They serve various Filipino delicacies and desserts. We paid 199php per person and followed their house rules; 1. No sharing 2. No left over
After our dinner, we headed back to our place and rested for the night.
In the morning, we decided to go for the beach again while the tide is low and the waves aren't that scary. All suited up for the main event which is surfing.
Rode the waves of Sabang Beach, Baler, Aurora 3 times and me was already shouting, screaming, and cursing "Ayoko na po balik n'yo na ko!!!!" I almost cried. Hahaha. I had to ask my boyfriend to take my place instead. He managed to surf gracefully. As in with all the proper balance and standing. He enjoyed it. Photo's? None. Girlfriend too upset and had to light a cigarette. :-P
It was fun, YES! Maybe surfing isn't just really for me.. Or maybe, kulang pa ako sa lakas ng loob. I was so afraid since I didn't know how to swim at nakaka stress po mahampas ng alon sa mukha. Haha. But don't let me discourage you! Go surf! Go to Baler! :-)
After the surfing experience and some swimming, we went back to our place. Cleaned up, took a bath, and packed our stuff ready to leave.
Manong Benigno managed to get us a tricycle to take us to Genesis bus line to reserve a seat. unfortunately, they were fully booked. We decided to have lunch at Gerry Shan's again. After our heavy lunch, we went to the City's terminal Where you can also find their PASALUBONG Center! :)
After buying some goodies for our loved ones, we walked towards the terminal and we rode an Aurora Bus heading to Cabanatuan at 1:00 PM , 247php per person.
In Cabanatuan Bus Terminal, we took a 5 Start Bus to Pasay. 196php per person.
We arrived in Manila around 10:00 PM. A total of 9 hours land travel.
Such a nice and tiring trip to Baler! i had so much much much fun!
Just an additional information, if you're in Baler and you have morning to kill.. You might want to try their tour packages ranging from 700 - 900php.
Tour package includes the following sites to visit:
I hope you learned a lot from reading!
Thank you!

Aidan, so happy and hungry. :)
After our dinner, we headed back to our place and rested for the night.
In the morning, we decided to go for the beach again while the tide is low and the waves aren't that scary. All suited up for the main event which is surfing.
The tricycle driver who helped us find a place to stay in also happens to be a surfing instructor and tour guide. He was a very nice guy (want his number? Send me a message!) We signed up at Micheal's Surf Shop (where the tricycle driver, tour guide, and surfing instructor works). 350php for 1 hour board rental and with surfing lesson with kuya tricycle driver, tour guide, and surfing instructor.
